How to Use the Settings Menu

To access some of the features of your Black Knight tracker you will need to go to the settings menu.

Access the settings menu by clicking “Settings” in the upper-right corner of the screen. This will take you to the “Account” tab.

Here you can adjust basic settings such as the tracker display name, address, phone number and e-mail (which will receive notifications). You can also change time zones, measurement units (from km/metres to miles/feet), position frequency updates and add additional details such as vehicle registration number and vehicle details. Once you’re finished, don’t forget to click “Save Settings”.

Under the “Notifications” tab, you can set the different alerts you want and add other emails to receive these alerts. The alerts you can set are geofence alerts, speed alerts (which can be set between 40 and 130 km/h), power disconnect alerts, distance travelled alerts (at every 2,000, 5,000 or 10,000 km travelled) and low power alerts. Once you’ve set the alerts you want, again, don’t forget to click “Save Setting”.

In “Connectivity and Billing” you can view details of your subscription.

Finally, “Data Management” allows you to review all the alerts you have received in your 12 months of travel data. Much like in Playback mode, you can choose the time frame you want to check.
